2026 Changhua Moon Shadow Lantern Festival presents a strong and accessible curatorial concept, successfully combining the cultural landmark of Bagua Mountain, the festive symbolism of the Year of the Horse, and popular character IP into a memorable nighttime experience. Its strongest achievement lies in activating the city’s public memory through light, transforming Bagua Mountain into a shared festive stage that attracts visitors, supports tourism, and encourages social interaction. A small suggestion would be to further refine the visual hierarchy between IP characters, local cultural symbols, and lighting routes, provide more details of the plan and usage scheme for the area, so the regional identity of Changhua can remain as prominent as the entertainment elements. Overall, this is a lively, well-scaled, and emotionally engaging event design with strong public impact and commercial vitality.
