Project description
"Encounters and Farewells in the Waterfall of Reincarnation: An Adventure in a Subconscious Illusion."
In the quiet recovery after a typhoon, I was walking along a winding mountain path when I suddenly saw a young girl seated on a large white elephant, surrounded by a multitude of wild beasts, slowly approaching me. The world was silent, and only an indescribable sense of familiarity arose within my heart—we are familiar with each other! In the ancient cosmic dust and through countless cycles of reincarnation, we have long known and cherished each other. A brief encounter, an instant separation; a single glance exchanged is more powerful than a hundred lifetimes of flowing light. You and I, even if we are soul-entwined lovers, each carry our own missions and can only say goodbye again. However, this separation is not an eternal farewell, but a prelude to the next journey, a temporary parting for the sake of future reunion. Somewhere, when the rainy season returns and the morning light fills the land, we will recognize each other deep within our souls!
Image 1 (KLL_Fig1.PNG) briefly and concisely summarizes the story above. Image 2 (not included) is the original composition, where the waterfall descending from the sky symbolizes the collective reincarnation and karma of countless beings; the lotus flower represents purity and clarity, and the elephant stepping on the lotus signifies its status as a protector and divine beast; the girl's determined gaze indicates that she still bears an important mission. The figure on the lotus seat in the third painting (not included) emphasizes the story's sacredness, while the girl in a student uniform suggests that every life is a journey of continuous learning; the strange beasts indicate that this illusion is not limited to the world we know. The fourth painting (KLL_Fig4.PNG) focuses on capturing the gaze, depicting the pupils, the sparkle of raindrops or tears on the face, and the details of the hair; it also attempts to incorporate faces of different ethnicities to show multiple facets of the same narrative. Overall, it is hoped that this will resonate with viewers from different cultural backgrounds and inspire them to create their own mythical stories.
Through AI-generated art, I have solidified this timeless soul memory from my childhood, allowing it to flow eternally on a digital canvas, narrating the unforgettable encounters and separations deep within the soul.
