Project description
CROSS FOR GOD — Woven Leather Reconstruction Series
This work explores the beauty of intersection and reconstruction. We collected everyday industrial webbing—materials often seen in bags, sun-shade fabrics, or even discarded after production—and re-wove them entirely by hand. These woven bands became the structural foundation of the garment, forming an open, breathable textile that was later combined with genuine leather to create jackets, vests, and cover-ups with strong sculptural identity.
What was once ordinary and overlooked is reborn through craftsmanship. By unifying leftover webbing and reconstructing it into a new surface, we celebrate sustainability, transformation, and the power of materials to be reimagined. The texture is firm yet flexible, revealing light and air within every gap—just like faith, rebuilt from fragments into something resilient and alive.
Our brand CROSS FOR GOD represents crossing, connection, and the beauty of intersection. This series has become one of our most iconic signatures, reflecting our ongoing design ethos: to combine, to rebuild, and to create new life from what remains.
