Project description

Current is an aquarium inspired by the movement of water. The building uses flowing curves and interconnected volumes to create a continuous architectural form, transforming the natural qualities of water into space.

The central sunken space acts as the heart of the building, where different volumes and circulation paths converge. Elevated structures and open ground-level spaces create a sense of lightness and continuity between the building and its surroundings.

Rather than simply displaying the underwater world, Current aims to let visitors move through it. The architecture guides visitors through changing spaces and perspectives, creating an experience that feels like following the flow of water.

Architecture becomes a current — guiding people into the world of water.
