Project description

A Form of Coexistence

This is a residential building that appears to be made of wood, part of a wooden house city project in Chiayi, Taiwan.

The project aims to connect architecture with the primary goal of "ecological symbiosis."

Urban development often impacts the ecological environment; this environmental concept design aims for symbiosis with the ecosystem while also ensuring openness and connectivity between the interior and exterior.

The glass on each floor and the interior space layout convey both privacy between neighbors and open interaction between children's floors.

Materials include steel, sustainable building materials made from crushed plastic scraps, and transparent, weather-resistant glass. The goal is to ensure zero carbon emissions during the construction process while reducing deforestation in the mountainous area.
