Project description

This 102 m² residence redefines compact urban living through the theme “gray as structure, warmth as emotion.”

Concrete-textured grays establish a calm spatial framework, while soft latte tones introduce warmth and visual balance.

The layout is optimized by removing the original study wall, creating a continuous axis from the entrance to the living area and significantly enhancing openness and daylight. A semi-open study behind the TV wall supports both family interaction and individual focus.

Materiality and lighting shape the home’s atmosphere: diffuse daylight and layered indirect lighting enrich the concrete feature wall; perforated screens, sliding doors, and a light-use bar counter enable functional flexibility in the dining and kitchen zones.

Bedrooms prioritize comfort, safety, and long-term adaptability—raised shelf edges, rounded desk corners, and an embedded track light system support future growth.

The project balances proportion, light, and material rhythm, achieving a quiet harmony between function and emotion.
