Old town,Full Gratitude — A Gratitude to What Remains
Old town,Full Gratitude explores the cultural memories preserved within rapidly changing cities. Inspired by Taipei’s historic neighborhoods, the collection draws from Taiwan’s distinctive iron window grilles, weathered metal-clad architecture, and traditional craftsmanship—everyday elements that quietly carry stories across generations.
Through patchwork construction, distressed surfaces, and handcrafted techniques, fragments of the past are transformed into contemporary garments. More than an expression of nostalgia, Xie Tian is a gesture of gratitude for the beauty, warmth, and cultural traces that time has allowed to remain.
