Project description

This project involved a commercial space specifically designed for premium automotive showroom display. Centered around the concept of “where speed meets refined precision,” the design reflects BMW’s brand values—youthful, premium, and performance-driven. A black grid ceiling establishes a cohesive visual tone throughout the space, while sweeping curves and streamlined structures introduce a sense of lightness and motion throughout the space. Material textures and color gradients flow from calm greys and deep wood tones to crisp whites, creating a spatial narrative that reflects both modern tension and brand sophistication—a showroom where movement and elegance are in perfect balance.

Spatial planning extends the brand’s ethos into every detail, with programmatic zoning that guides users through a clear, intuitive layout—connecting showroom, public areas, and consultation zones in a fluid sequence. Materials such as leather, wood, and metal, paired with pendant lighting and tactile rugs, enrich the environment with a layered aesthetic that balances beauty and functionality. The consultation areas are semi-enclosed with glass panels and vertical grilles, maximizing both natural light and spatial transparency. As the original structure was a metal-clad building, the design places a strong emphasis on acoustic performance. Targeted insulation treatments were applied to the roof, walls, and windows, effectively shielding the interior from external noise and ensuring a calm, high-quality experience.

In alignment with sustainable design principles, the project uses multiple eco-certified materials. The roof is fitted with multi-layer insulated steel panels to reduce solar heat gain and lower HVAC demand. Double-glazed Low-E laminated glass was carefully selected to enhance thermal efficiency, minimize energy usage, and reduce long-term maintenance impact. Additionally, water-saving certified fixtures were installed throughout, further reducing energy and environmental impact. The result is a modern showroom that expresses brand excellence while championing eco-conscious values.
