Project description
PARASITE presents a mature and poetic interpretation of ecological relationships within Maokong, using the two-volume publication format to explore both “maintaining stability” and “transforming structure.” Visually, the work establishes a distinctive identity through high-contrast typography, mirrored layouts, fluorescent green and violet imagery, fragmented biological textures, and layered editorial compositions, creating a sense of tension between beauty, disturbance, and adaptation. A small suggestion would be to refine the readability of some dense bilingual layouts, so the powerful conceptual content can be absorbed more smoothly without weakening the experimental visual impact. Overall, this is a thoughtful, ambitious, and visually memorable print design project with strong cultural and environmental depth.
