Project description

This oil painting presents a layered dialogue between corporeal gesture and technological transformation, using the body not only as subject matter but as a conceptual instrument of mark-making, presence, and imprint. The repeated two-panel structure is especially effective, creating a subtle comparison between physical image and altered visual perception, while the pale blue environment, red architectural forms, nude bodies, musical elements, and white tiger together produce a dreamlike and theatrical atmosphere. The work’s strength lies in its hybrid language. Further refinement in compositional hierarchy and the integration of symbolic elements could strengthen the conceptual clarity, allowing the relationship between body, medium, and transformation to read with greater precision.
