Project description
This piece successfully uses the cyanotype process to create a calm, unified visual atmosphere, where the blue tonal field becomes both background and emotional language. The division between darker and lighter blue areas creates a meaningful dialogue between shadow and illumination, reinforcing the work’s exploration of printmaking layers and photographic exposure. The combination of precise linear structure with playful, childlike imagery gives the piece a distinctive balance between order and tenderness. Further refinement in tonal contrast or edge clarity within the central form could enhance the visual impact and make the theme of peaceful coexistence even more immediate.
