Project description

This outdoor architectural space is inspired by the form of a tree

trunk. Starting from the concept of the tree itself, the design

allows the structure to blend harmoniously with nature, using a

simple construction method that reduces waste while creating a

space that feels as though it can breathe.

The exterior of the building resembles a tree hollow. Entering it feels like stepping into a small shelter gently held by nature, offering a sense of safety. The sharper corners of the walls are rounded, not only to prevent injuries but also to make the overall lines of the structure more fluid. This creates a softer, more graceful visual impression and adds a sense of comfort and reassurance. The enveloping walls also allow the sounds of nature to resonate throughout the space, creating a delightful auditory experience.

Situated beside the road, the structure offers people a convenient spot to pause during exercise, rest, and appreciate the beauty of the natural surroundings. The rest area integrates plants with seating, becoming part of the environment. The design incorporates natural lighting and greenery, balancing energy efficiency with environmental harmony, and creating a sustainable and comfortable outdoor space.
