Project description
This work succeeds in merging calligraphy and pictorial imagination, allowing the character to become both a written sign and a living creature. The concentrated ink in the horse’s head and mane conveys strength and spirit, while the dry-brush and flying-white techniques in the lower form create a dynamic sense of galloping rhythm. The generous negative space enhances the elegance of the composition, and the piece effectively connects ancient pictographic origins with a contemporary visual language; further refinement in the transition between image and script could make the fusion feel even more seamless.
