Project description

Architectural Concept

Flowing Design

The building is designed with smooth U-shaped and curved forms. These flowing shapes represent the free movement of artistic ideas and naturally guide visitors through the space. They create a comfortable and enjoyable journey while encouraging people to explore the building.

Light in Motion

During the day, sunlight shines through the windows and creates geometric patterns of light and shadow. As the sun moves across the sky, these patterns slowly change, turning the interior into a moving artwork.

At night, light from inside the building shines through the windows, making the building glow like a lantern. It becomes a welcoming landmark that brings light and life to the surrounding public space.

Architecture

Building Form

The building combines flowing curved forms with cylindrical spaces of different heights. Together, they create a balanced design that feels both modern and dynamic.

Exterior Design

The façade uses a grid-like pattern with windows of different shapes and sizes. These windows allow natural light to enter the building while creating changing patterns of light and shadow throughout the day.

Interior Spaces

The building includes a tall cylindrical exhibition space, wide curved walkways and a sunken plaza. These spaces are connected to create an open and flexible environment where people can explore, meet and enjoy art.

Public Space

Flexible Indoor Space

The building can be used for international forums, art workshops and immersive multimedia exhibitions. It is designed as a place where people can share ideas, learn from one another and experience art together.

Outdoor Space

The different levels of the building and its cylindrical forms create shaded outdoor areas where people can relax. The open spaces can also be used for art installations, performances and public events.

A Place for Interaction

The curved walkways and the sunken plaza connect the indoor and outdoor spaces. This removes the feeling of separation often found in traditional galleries and encourages artists, curators and visitors to communicate more naturally.

Sustainability

Natural Daylight

The many windows bring plenty of natural daylight into the building, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day and helping to save energy.

A More Comfortable Environment

The large upper structures provide shade for the spaces below, helping to reduce heat and create a cooler, more comfortable environment for visitors.

Natural Ventilation

The open design, together with the curved walkways and sunken plaza, allows fresh air to move naturally through the building. It also connects the indoor spaces with the surrounding landscape, creating a closer relationship between people, architecture and nature.
