Project description
Quiet Green is a research-led plant-care system designed around the emotional relationship between people and their houseplants. Research with plant owners revealed that care extends beyond functional tasks: people observe growth, respond to subtle changes and develop everyday rituals around their plants, while the objects used for care often remain fragmented and task-driven.
Quiet Green brings plants, essential care tools and sensory interaction into one domestic focal point. Its circular base keeps watering, misting, pruning and cleaning tools immediately accessible around the plants, turning separate activities into a more intentional care ritual. Above, repositionable faceted prisms interact with changing natural light, creating subtle reflections that encourage closer observation of the plants and their environment.
A modular sectional structure allows the system to adapt to different plants and domestic settings, transforming plant care from a collection of tasks into a visible, engaging part of everyday life.
