Project description
"I love my little mountainous country"
This phrase originates from a poet's description of my hometown.
The post-pandemic city is a cacophony of hazy car noises, boisterous crowds, and [silence]. (A voice and justice that cannot be heard.)
This furniture project aims to echo the rhythmic sounds and tranquility of my hometown's mountains.
The clamor of the forest is harmonious, friendly, and inclusive.
It symbolizes a yearning and longing for peace in the nation.
The materials are white woven fabric cushions and simulated wood building materials repurposed from plastic scraps.
Inspirational elements come from the pipa (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument), tree holes favored by squirrels (as seen in the chair legs), and the structure of tree branches.
