Project description
Translucent Retreat presents a thoughtful reading and relaxation space with a clear emotional intention: to offer users a quiet place of pause, reflection, and comfort. The project is especially effective in its contrast between translucent curved panels and vertical wooden slats, creating a layered relationship between openness and enclosure, visibility and mystery. The use of varied wooden heights gives the structure a natural rhythm, while the filtered light and subtle shadows strengthen the atmosphere of tranquility. A small suggestion would be to further refine the interior circulation and seating details, so the reading function can feel more fully developed alongside the poetic spatial concept. Overall, this is a sensitive, elegant, and atmospheric public architecture concept with strong emotional clarity.
