Project description
This work explores the inseparable bond between humans and forests, expressed through a fusion of organic materials and symbolic forms. Human figures—infants, adults, heads, and hands—are reimagined as intricate structures woven from branches, vines, and seasonal blossoms. These forms serve not merely as depictions but as metaphors for the shared lifeline between humanity and the ecosystem. The delicate twig frameworks embody both the fragility and resilience of nature, while the embedded flowers reflect the cycles of the seasons and the richness of biodiversity. By merging precise botanical observation with illustrative abstraction, these works convey a tactile authenticity. The contrast between the neutral background and the vivid vitality of plant life amplifies the sense of energy emerging from within. This juxtaposition invites viewers to reflect on sustainable forest stewardship—not as a distant environmental duty but as an intimate, bodily connection—where harming the forest is harming ourselves, and protecting it preserves the very continuity of life.
